Hosted by the Florida Press Foundation, the Florida Media Conference serves as the premier opportunity for Florida’s news media leaders to meet, share ideas and create partnerships. This summertime symposium offers knowledgeable speakers and motivating presentations with information designed to improve our member magazines. Additionally, this is an opportunity to interact with the members of the other participating organizations and benefit from networking and best-practice sharing. Summer Internship Program
In partnership with the Florida Press Foundation, FMA members in good standing have an opportunity to participate in the foundation’s internship program that provides an intern for eight weeks of work over the summer. The program is designed to assist participating publications and help students gain hands-on experience. The internship can be for any area of production (advertising, marketing, editorial, graphics, online publishing and pre-press production).
