The Florida Magazine Association (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates https://floridamagazine.org (the “Site”). Member Resources and Features – To gain access to members-only resources and features on the Site, members are asked to register and provide some limited Personal Information. This information is submitted voluntarily. Similar information may be submitted to FMA through membership applications, event registrations, and contest submission forms.
Comments – When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media – If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact Forms – We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to ship an order.

Member Account Management – The member account functionality of the website is handled by a third-party agent, MembershipWorks™, a Service operated by SourceFound, Inc. (“MembershipWorks”). Your information, including personal information, may be stored through MembershipWork’s servers. By using this functionality, you consent to MembershipWorks collection, disclosure, storage, and use of your Personal Information in accordance with MembershipWorks’s privacy policy available at https://membershipworks.com/tos/.

Event Registration – Event registration may be handled by a third-party agent, Regfox, which is authorized to use your personal information solely for purpose of providing event registration and payment processing. Read Regfox’s privacy policy.

Analytics – FMA may rely on third-party agents, such as Google Analytics, to collect or process analytic information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. This information is used solely for our internal business purposes, including to improve the functionality of our site, diagnose errors, generate statistical reports, analyze trends, understand and improve user experience, and identify aggregate user preferences.

How long we retain your data
The Personal Information that you provide will be stored and maintained by FMA until you instruct us otherwise, or, in FMA’s sole discretion, for so long as is necessary or appropriate to carry out the purpose(s) for which such information was collected, and for so long as we are required to maintain such information by law.
For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
